A typical camp day begins before breakfast with an optional opportunity for campers to experience a refreshing (and sometimes brisk!) plunge into the lake for a morning swim – also known as Polar Bear Swim! Many campers will join the “Polar Bear Club” by participating each day while they are at camp.
After drying off, all campers and staff gather for Morning Watch, a time to focus and reflect on all that is going on around us as we give special attention to God’s presence in the morning and begin to explore the theme for the day.
Meal times serve as anchor points for gathering the campers and staff as they participate in a number of Family Group Activities including hiking, swimming, canoeing, playing games, Bible study, worship, archery, arts and crafts, and other fun camp activities.
After supper, campers and staff gather together for activities such as Water Games, Talent Shows, Campfires, Storytelling, Skit Nights, and other “all camp” activities. The day ends with the same focus as it began, with campers and staff gathered in a time of praise and worship.
