Buc Outdoor Center Summer Camp Campership Program
It is the policy of Buc Outdoor Center (BOC) to provide a positive summer camp experience to as many children and youth as possible at an economical cost.
Campership Program Eligibility
BOC believes a strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the financial assistance recipient has contributed to the cost of their services. Therefore, applicants will be asked to pay a portion of the fee.
Assistance will be granted on the basis of financial need after a review of the application and follow-up communication as deemed necessary. Established assistance guidelines will be used as initial eligibility criteria.
Financial Assistance
While we are a not-for-profit Foothills Presbytery supported ministry, we depend on camp fees to provide services.
Financial assistance for programs are granted on a per camp basis each year and must be reapplied for subsequent programs and years.
Campership Funds are available due to the generosity of donors to the Buc Outdoor Center Campership Fund, including Foothills Presbytery and congregations throughout South Carolina and Georgia.
Application Steps
Complete each and every section of the campership application form. All applications for assistance are strictly confidential.
Campership amounts awarded are limited to the availability of financial resources.
Processing of an application may take two to three weeks.
Applicant/Family will be notified as soon as processing is complete and supporting funds are deemed available and allocated for the specific application.
